The Leopard Man

I have never in my life found a film that more loves the sound of castanets as this one. For the first I don’t know how long it’s an inescapable clack-fest! As production decisions go, it’s one of the weirder ones - certainly not obnoxious or anything, just A Choice Someone Made.
But clickety clacking aside, I found this fairly entertaining. It never really manages to ratchet up the tension too much, it does sometimes rather undercut any seriousness or sense of mystery it does try to maintain but it’s well shot, well performed and has a big cat.
